MXR Sugar Drive - new pedal by Dunlop

H εταιρεία Dunlop συνεχίζει να καινοτομεί προσφέροντας στους μουσικούς εξαιρετικά πετάλια με άριστη ποιότητα κατασκευής. Πρόσφατα παρουσίασε ένα νέο πετάλι, το Sugar Drive. Πρόκειται για ένα drive πετάλι που προσφέρει μια μεγάλη ποικιλία πολύ καθαρών overdrive ήχων, από ζεστό boost μέχρι την χαρακτηριστική παραμόρφωση που παράγεται από ένα λαμπάτο κύκλωμα.

Τα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά του κυκλώματος του πεταλιού Sugar Drive είναι ο έλεγχος Drive και το voltage doubler που διαθέτει. Με τον έλεγχο Drive δεν αυξάνεται απλώς η ένταση της παραμόρφωσης, μιας και το πετάλι συνδυάζει τον καθαρό ήχο της κιθάρας και σταδιακά προσθέτει τον overdrive ήχο, προσεγγίζοντας έτσι την ομαλή μετάβαση που έχει ένας ενισχυτής από καθαρό σε βρώμικο ήχο. Το voltage doubler αυξάνει το συνολικό headroom του πεταλιού και έτσι ο ήχος είναι πολύ πιο καθαρός.

Το πετάλι Sugar Drive είναι ρυθμισμένο εργοστασιακά σε λειτουργία true bypass, διαθέτει όμως επίσης και λειτουργία buffered bypass, η οποία ενεργοποιείται με τον διακόπτη Buffer στο πλάι του πεταλιού.

Πρόκειται για ένα πετάλι ιδανικό για πεταλιέρες με πολλά εφέ, μιας και προσφέρεται στο μικρό μέγεθος πεταλιών της MXR για να καταλαμβάνει το λιγότερο δυνατό χώρο. Παρόλο που διαθέτει μόνο 3 ποτενσιόμετρα για ρυθμίσεις, έχει πολλές δυνατότητες και σίγουρα θα βρείτε μια ρύθμιση που θα σας ταιριάζει.
